According to the Xalan2-j website at http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/extensions.html#supported-lang, you can use any language supported by the Bean Scripting Framework, which includes VBScript. Their description just seems somewhat vague as to what the "appropriate language dll's" are and how BSF is supposed to recognize them and where they're supposed to be located for BSF to utilize them. thanks, matt a -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Chris Bayes Sent: Friday, August 31, 2001 3:57 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: [xsl] embedded script using VBScript I think/am sure you can only use vbscript with msxml Ciao Chris XML/XSL Portal http://www.bayes.co.uk/xml > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of > Matthew L.
