Thinking ahead on this one... Is there anything special that needs to be done to handle quotes in the data or commas in the data? The idea of using a table seems to be a great work around for handling the potential commas and quotes in the data. If I HAD to write something that handled the generic case (and it looks like I will soon) I think I could simply use the text functions in xslt to look for those characters and replace them with the correct escape sequences. Unless I missed something else. Have I?
