I pretty sure this is in fact a FAQ, but I'm in a good mood :-)

Try this:
XML:
<document>
<title>title</title>
<drawing output="filename.jpg"/>
<p>paragraph</p>
</document>

XSLT:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform";>
   <xsl:template match="/">
      <xsl:apply-templates />
   </xsl:template>


   <!-- default behaviour:
   <xsl:template match="*">
                <xsl:apply-templates/>
   </xsl:template>

        and with templates al you do is change that def. behaviour,
        so when you only specify a template for that certain element, all
        other will be processed according to the above template..

        more or less anyway...

        <xsl:copy>
