Hi Jim,

My message does *not* contain anything negative about EXSLT,and I
respect highly the purpose and ideas standing behind EXSLT.

In fact I was going to ask Jeni if I was wrong in pointing out the
differences in approach and implementation between FXSL and EXSLT.

I agree completely with this, what my message said was that not *all*
EXSLT functions have been implemented in pure XSLT (e.g. the math
functions). Once again, there's nothing negative about this, as the
purpose of EXSLT is quite different from the purpose of FXSL.

If you consider these facts negative, this is probably your own problem
:o)

On my side I find the results of EXSLT useful, and for example, would
be happy to use exsl:node-set() in FXSL.
