Hi Jarkko, > Is there some possibility to select node values (numbers) from > several xml -files and then count them all together? Sure. Select the nodes that you want and union them together to create a node set that contains all the nodes you want to count, then pass that node set as the argument to the count() function. For example: <xsl:value-of select="count($P1//P1Kurssi/P1Arvosanat/arvosana | $P2//P1Kurssi/P1Arvosanat/arvosana)" /> or even in this case: <xsl:value-of select="count(($P1 | $P2)//P1Kurssi/P1Arvosanat/arvosana)" /> Cheers, Jeni --- Jeni Tennison http://www.jenitennison.com/ XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
