I wanna include some images in the html file generated from a xml file using

How can I test if a file (no xml) exists on my misk.

Not by using the W3C defined functions of XSLT.

I'm using the XT processor.

Since you are using XT, it happens XT provides access to the Java library.

Coincidentally, it happens our book has used the "file exists" Java function as an illustration of XT's access to extension functions.

Go to the "Book sales" link at the very top of our home page, download the 138-page free preview of our "Practical Transformation Using XSLT and XPath" book, and look at pages 117 through 119 for working code that invokes the Java library "exists" method of the "io.File" class.

I hope this helps.
