Thank You The string --> "ءآأؤإئ&] #x0627;" is retrieved from a database. Yes this a unicode for arabic characters... This is put into my xml document in an xml tag using JDOM. When the xml is sent to the browser i observe that '&' is replaced by '&' automatically... So is this a problem of JDOM... Is any one out there who is familiar with JDOM so as to disable this replacement...
