ahh, good point :-) What about convert to zone-specific unix timestamp, make required adjustment (including daylight savings), convert back. Then won't have to specifically deal with unit rollover. Thanks for the reply peter. But this is not as simple as it looks like. I have to do "hours += 8" from last Sunday of October to last Sunday of April and "hours += 7" for the rest. After adding to hours, if it exceeds 24, I have to add 1 to date and if date is 30 or 31st month should be incremented and so on.. I am just wondering, if there is some standard logic that I can use. Other wise may be I will start writing it by myself. Thanks, Raj.. -----Original Message----- From: Peter Van de Water [mailto:peter.vandewater@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, January 14, 2003 12:28 PM To: 'xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: RE: [xsl] Converting PST to GMT. Pull apart the fields - This is the only tricky bit and depends on what format your time is in Adjust the hours by the required offset Put the fields back together Peter -----Original Message----- From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Avula, Raj Sent: Wednesday, 15 January 2003 8:48 a.m. To: 'xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [xsl] Converting PST to GMT. Hi All, I am trying to convert Pacific Standard Time (DateTime) to GMT using XSL. Can someone point me to the place where I can get the logic or if possible xsl code snippet. Thanks, Raj...
