Easiest way is an attribute value template (AVT):

   <dst value="{@vv}"/>"><xsl:value-of "."></dst>

I missed something - must be easy - but I cannot find how to achieve it:

how to get an attribute value into an attribute value?

source:

<ns:x vv="yy">text</ns:x>

desired destination

<dst value="yy">text</dst>

transformation

<xsl:template match="ns:x">
   <dst value="???????"/>"><xsl:value-of "."></dst>
</xsl:template>

What has to be typed instead of ??????? in order to refer to the value
of the attribute vv of node ns:x?

Thanks in advance.

Rolf
