the methods of specifying a parameter to XSLT are not defined by XSLT they are defined by each XSLT implementation, so you'll need to say which XST engine you are using.
Similarly you'll need to say what language or framework you are using to handle http requests as that will determine the commands needed to extract the query parameters from a URL.
