  Wrong list to ask questions specific to a given processor installation.

To upgrade libxml2 and libxslt on Red Hat the best is to use RPM packages,
in that case grab the .src.rpm from ftp://xmlsoft.org/ and use rpm --rebuild
to regenerate binary packages to upgrade your system.
