Have you installed MSXML3.0, preferably in side-by-side mode?

XML 3.0

XMLInst (configures XML3.0 into side-by-side mode, rather than replace 2.0)

Thanks for the link. When I do
  WScript convert.js 1.xsl

I get:
 ERROR Script: c:\xml\convert.js
        Line: 42
Object required (line 17) line is offset from the start of the ..
        Source: msxml3.dll

Any idea? Thanks
