Subject: [xsl] Problem Dynamically setting XSL Sort order From: "Andrew Pym" <andrew.pym@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 31 Jul 2003 16:25:53 +1000 |
I am using XML Spy 5 and MSXML4
Can't seem to get the suggested solution on the FAQ to work for
Dynamically setting the sort order within an XSLT
>From FAQ
<xsl:sort order="{$order}" select="*[name()=$sortColumn]"/>
My Code
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
version="1.0" xmlns:x="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:excel"
xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt" ">
<xsl:output method="html" indent="no"/>
<xsl:param name="sortKey" select="1" />
<xsl:param name="sortOrder" select="descending" />
<xsl:template match="ListOfRows">
<table>
<xsl:apply-templates>
<xsl:sort order="{$sortOrder}" select="field/value[../@ID=$sortKey]"
/>
</xsl:apply-templates>
</table>
</xsl:template>
Any ideas anyone???
Regards
Andrew
