It is msxml3. msxml4 requires the use of MSXML2.DomDocument.4.0 And msxml3 can use MSXML.DomDocument (in replace mode), Microsoft.XMLDOM (in replace mode), MSXML2.DomDocument and MSXML2.DomDOcument.3.0
IE uses the old progid (MSXML.DomDocument or Microsoft.XMLDOM) that are not suported by msxml4
