Subject: Re: [xsl] Re for-each identifying current iteration From: Thomas Rasmussen <tbr77@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 29 Dec 2003 19:33:19 +0100 |
Hi,Hello
I'm sure there is an incredibly easy way of doing this, but as usual I can't find it!
During a for-each iteration how do you identify what is the integer value of the current iteration.
Thanks

I think position() could do the job:
#xsl
<xsl:template match="/">
<xsl:for-each select="/root/node">
<xsl:value-of select="position()"/>
</xsl:for-each>
</xsl:template>
# xml-file
<root>
<node/>
<node/>
</root>Regards ThomasRasmussen
