May be I am missing something here but it seems a simpler case because no entities are involved. <xsl:text>String app = "text";</xsl:text> Robert already mentioned a better way to produce jsp statements using the xml syntax. Here some examples: <jsp:declaration>String app = "text";</jsp:declaration> <jsp:expression>app</jsp:expression> You can find out more on JSP here http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/syntax/1.2/syntaxref12.html Ivan > -----Original Message----- > From: taciana [mailto:cherrym0iah@xxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Tuesday, March 23, 2004 7:30 PM > To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: RE: [xsl] Problem with jsp expression %>" > > hei ivan! > > will u pls give more sample of inserting a jsp code > in xsl.. > for instance how r u goin to insert this line in xsl : > > String app = "test"; > > your reply would be much appreciated. thanks > --- Ivan Pedruzzi <ipedruzz@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > One way is defining an entity > > > > <?xml version='1.0'?> > > <!DOCTYPE xsl:stylesheet [<!ENTITY PER "%">]> > > > > <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" > > xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> > > <xsl:output method="text"/> > > > > <xsl:template match="/"> > > <xsl:text > > > disable-output-escaping="yes">followUp="<&PER;=var&PER;>"</xsl:text> > > </xsl:template> > > > > </xsl:stylesheet> > > > > > > Ivan > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > > From: Andri Moniz [mailto:ei99041@xxxxxxxx] > > > Sent: Tuesday, March 23, 2004 7:36 AM > > > To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > > Subject: [xsl] Problem with jsp expression %>" > > > > > > Hi > > > I have a problem related with a XSL that i have > > like this: > > > What i want to generate is this simple code for > > example. > > > .. > > > followUp="<%=var%>" > > > .. > > > and it always get like this > > > followUp="<%=var%>' > > > > > > > > > My XSL code is this... > > > > > > <xsl:text > > > disable-output-escaping="yes">followUp="<%=var%>"/></xsl:text> > > > > > > What is wrong? does anyone knows?
