Thanx Rob we only wanted to be as complete as possible - if you'd strip out the xml and xsl then the mail would be acceptable? Actually, although I also saw it a bit strange also, the xsl:if test works, as if the processor knows we're giving it a number 1 instead of a string '1'. Also thanx Kenny, I'll try the approach you're proposing, it looks you're right about looping twice with a for-each. I can't think either of a better idea. <prs/> -----Original Message----- From: Robert Koberg [mailto:rob@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, April 28, 2004 8:46 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [xsl] Creating javascript dynamically using XSLT Pieter Reint Siegers Kort wrote: Hi, I tried to read your code but you provided way too much info. I did see a few things quickly: - your xsl:if's have a test that won't work. You probably want something like: <xsl:if test=". = '1'"> or <xsl:if test="number(.) = 1"> Here is a template of mine that might give some ideas as to your other problems: <xsl:template match="s:focus"> <xsl:text>tbMgr.createOption(generateDd, "</xsl:text> <xsl:value-of select="@label"/> <xsl:text>", "</xsl:text> <xsl:value-of select="@id"/> <xsl:text>"); </xsl:text> </xsl:template> Try to trim down your post to *just* the problem (by doing so you will probably solve it yourself). best, -Rob
