Although not in book format Dave Pawson's XSL FAQ does do exactly what
you are referring to. Dave has been running this service for what has
got to be 5 years now (anyone know the exact number given that Dave is
most likely asleep by now?) and has been collecting the best solutions
to common problems from this list, editing out the fluff, giving credit
to the person(s) responsible for posting the solution, and publishing
the result to the content area of the site that seems to fit the
solutions topic most effectively.

The site: http://www.dpawson.co.uk/xsl/index.html

Dave does an excellent job of keeping the content current and updated
with the latest best practice solutions to classic problems as well as
constant additions to showcase new issues and there solutions. The
general rule is that if you cant find the answer on Dave's site then its
not a problem with XSLT and more than likely a problem with you and as
such you should probably seek counseling before the problem gets
worse..... HAH!!!! :D Nah, that's just my way of making sure youre
still awake while you're reading this :) The general rule is that if
you cant find the answer on Dave's site then it's a great candidate for
posting to the list to gain the collective fire power of its members to
help solve your problem which can then find its way to Dave's FAQ
creating our own little circle of life right here on XSL-List. Hey,
maybe we could get Elton John to write and sing a theme song for us...
Any of you guys over in the UK know Elton well enough to ask for such a
favor? ;) Let him know that if he writes it I will sing it right along
with him. Not well, but Ill sing it for sure :)

The other site that is a massive resource and wealth of XSLT knowledge
is Jeni Tennison's XSLT pages. I of course am desirous to spend just as
much time describing how great and wonderful this site is but I just
realized I need to be somewhere in about 10 minutes. Sorry Jeni for not
giving you the proper bandwidth to highlight your site in text first
before sending someone off to it. Ill make it up to you next time, I
promise!

Heres Jeni's XSLT Pages URL: http://www.jenitennison.com/xslt/index.html

I hope this helps you find the answers to your problems but if it
doesn't were always here for you!

Best regards,

<M:D/>
