I have only tested these extensions with 6.5 and don't know if they work 
with Saxon 7 or 8. Since they only take string arguments and only return 
a string they should work. Since I am starting to use Saxon 7 for other 
stuff I'll try to get these extensions working with Saxon 7 and 8 as 
soon as I can.
