Subject: Re: [xsl] parentless nodes, was Attributes? From: David Carlisle <davidc@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 2 Jul 2004 10:23:24 +0100 |
Implying that a function can't return any node set with a document node? No, implying that the whole story's longer than I want to type before coffee: for "variable" in my reply read "sequence constructor" ie any such thing (like a function body) that has an as attribute, but the exact details are complicated, especialy for xsl:variable which has several special cases to keep backward compatibility with xslt1 usage as far as possible.
