Subject: [xsl] embedded xslt in Internet Explorer 6.xx /W2K From: Alexander Mikhailian <mikhailian@xxxxxxxxxx> (by way of Mulberry Technologies List Owner) Date: Wed, 15 Sep 2004 17:30:41 -0400 |
Can someone tell why the following xml file renders the string "test" in Mozilla but only the string "elementContents" in IE 6.xx?
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <?xml-stylesheet href="#xslstyle" type="text/xsl"?> <!DOCTYPE test [ <!ATTLIST xsl:stylesheet id ID #REQUIRED> ]> <test> <xsl:stylesheet id="xslstyle" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0"> <xsl:template match="test"> <p><xsl:value-of select="local-name()"/></p> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> <element>elementContents</element> </test>
Could it help to use WD-XSL to enable embedded stylesheet processing in IE6.xx /W2K?
Does it work in WXP or will it work in Longhorn which is supposed to intergrate msxml6.0?
