[xsl] How to read/create an xslfo document with java

Good morning,

I am new to xsl, xslfo and I am facing a problem. I need to read xslfo
documents (to show some information) and create xslfo documents
(modifications to hte information shown) with java. I would like to know if
I can tread them as XML and use standard parsers or need any special thing.

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
