I don't know, bit I wouldn't recomend turning down security (on any system) even though this is a real pain for us (see http://www.w3.org/Math/XSL) as it does complicate the deployment of client side XSLT. However you don't get the security violation the stylesheet is on the same server as the XML file, so usually it's possible to arrange that, at the cost of having multiple copies of teh stylesheet one on each server where it is needed.
