Subject: [xsl] Re: apply-templates not working From: omprakash.v@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Wed, 19 Jan 2005 16:10:49 +0530 |
Hi all, I found I have a closing tag arounf the templates and thats why they didnt get called. <xsl:template xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org" match="name"/> But Iam creating these tags using <xsl:element name="x:template" <xsl:attribute name="match"> <xsl:value-of select="@name" /> </xsl:attribute> Now if I don't close the element here, it puts 2 x:template tags in the output one having namespace and one without namespace. And where I close the xsl:element it adds only 1 closing x:template tag. As a result, my stylesheet is not valid xml. Can anyone throw some light on this. Now when I try to transform an xml file using the new stylesheet, the output document is empty when viewed in browser. The view source reveals output as having been generated only for the root template (person in this case) I have narrowed down the cause to the apply-templates not getting called. Here's my stylesheet. I had to rename the tags back to xsl in order to get the tags to be recognised as xsl.
