i have a large page i'd like to create in page links for: Top of page has 1) anchor link for question somewhere at bottom of page and 2) name link as target for anchor link (4): <xsl:element name="a"> <xsl:attribute name="href">#q<xsl:value-of select="$pos"/><xsl:value-of select="$pos2"/><xsl:number value="position()" format="1" /></xsl:attribute> <xsl:attribute name="name">#a<xsl:value-of select="$pos"/><xsl:value-of select="$pos2"/><xsl:number value="position()" format="1" /></xsl:attribute> <xsl:value-of select="."/> </xsl:element> --------------- Bottom of page is the 3) name link as target for anchor link (1) above and 4) anchor link back to question at top of page <xsl:element name="a"> <xsl:attribute name="name">q<xsl:value-of select="$pos"/><xsl:value-of select="$pos2"/><xsl:number value="position()" format="1" /></xsl:attribute> <xsl:value-of select="question"/> </xsl:element> . . . <a href="javascript:history.go(-1)"><font size="-1">Back to Question</font></a> ----------------- i'm not keen on the solution for item (4), i'd prefer to use xsl rather than javascript. any ideas? tiffany_blake@xxxxxxx
