Subject: RE: [xsl] Problem while Xpath-ing an excel XML exported file From: JBryant@xxxxxxxxx Date: Fri, 18 Mar 2005 09:46:29 -0600 |
Hi, Dave, For me, it would be something on the order of "template not matching" or "template not being reached". FWIW Jay Bryant Bryant Communication Services (presently consulting at Synergistic Solution Technologies) "Pawson, David" <David.Pawson@xxxxxxxxxxx> 03/18/2005 06:16 AM Please respond to xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To <xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Subject RE: [xsl] Problem while Xpath-ing an excel XML exported file As Wendell pointed out; this is a more recent 'top ten' question. I'm stuck trying to find a title for this question, that would mean anything to a reader with this problem. If you have been stuck with namespace processing, would you suggest something please? I can see that its difficult, especially when you have no idea that namespaces are causing the problem. The problem is compounded since with default templates there is output. Can't find root element? Template not being instantiated? .... what would you go looking for? Suggestions most welcome. You want xmlns:x="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:spreadsheet" on your xsl:stylseheet then <xsl:for-each select="x:Workbook/x:Worksheet etc so that you select elements from this namespace.
