I tried that, it was set to "Western European (Windows)" but when I switched the view to Unicode, I still get the box in place of the em-dash. So, that would mean that the output is not unicode, right? or it could mean that teh unicode font that you are using doesn't have a dash. hard to tell > but when I tried to set the output to US-ASCII, encoding= not method= David ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for all viruses by Star.
