If IE7 wasn't on its way and there wasn't rumor to the idea that in
fact it will have all of the CSS bugs fixed I would be hesitant to
this but with the promise of a new IE that doesnt require 6 hours of
CSS hacks just to get things to line up correctly I'm definitely all
for it...  in the mean time theres the "IE7" patch from Dean Edwards
that at very least helps keeps your sanity in check:

Of course with SVG well on its way in regards to Mozilla/Firefox and
at very least plugin support via IE it doesnt hurt to look at this as
a possible "skin"...  It seems it should be, at very least, something
that we experiment with...
