Subject: [xsl] Gexslt binary for Win32 From: Colin Paul Adams <colin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 03 Aug 2005 07:25:01 +0100 |
>>>>> "Colin" == Colin Paul Adams <colin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> writes: Gobo 3.4 was released a few weeks ago, but I only realised two days ago that the windows version contains a binary of gexslt in the bin subdirectory. Documentation is online at http://www.gobosoft.com/eiffel/gobo/gexslt/index.html Note that the full XSLT 2.0 recommendation (the namespaces are for April 2005 drafts, but some features, such as serialization, haven't been updated for a long while) is not implemented (for instance, no xsl:analyzse-string, no UTF-16 serialization, no date/time support, and many XPath functions are not implemented (the documentation lists the implementation status of XPath functions). Also if a TODO message appears at execution time, then you have probably hit some un-implemented or partially implemented feature. Also, this is not the full Gestalt - so that means no http or ftp URIs will be resolved (but there is built-in support for XML Catalogs, 1.1), nor is Parrot scripting available. After all these caveats, if you are still interested, you can download from http://www.gobosoft.com/download/gobo34.zip Extract bin/gexslt.exe from the archive (and throw the rest away, unless you want to build a local copy of the documentation). Correspondence about gexslt and gestalt should take place on the gestalt users mailing list: https://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=124274 -- Colin Adams Preston Lancashire
