Subject: Re: [xsl] Barcode Generation for stylesheets (used in xsl:fo) From: "J.Pietschmann" <j3322ptm@xxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 25 Aug 2005 21:57:21 +0200 |
Is there any other way to generate barcodes other than using the examples provided by renderx? Any ideas and suggestions are highly appreciated!
There are several other ways: - Use a barcode font, if possible. - Generate the barcode as image using another tool and use the image in the FO. - Write your of XSLT for generating the barcode, somehow. - Track down XSLT generating barcodes on the net, there should be at least two other instances (one in the XSL list archive).
What exactly is your problem? Are the RenderX style sheets too slow, do they generate wrong output, or what?
