You can't break out of a loop (all the iterations may be executed in parallel, so it's not clear what that would mean) but if you just want to iterate over the first three data elements, just select 3 of them: <xsl:for-each select="(DATA/Table[@Name='clients']/data)[position()<4]"> David ________________________________________________________________________ This e-mail has been scanned for all viruses by Star.
