Interesting, which version of MSXML are you using?
$ msxsl -xw wspace.xml wspace.xsl <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><foo> text. </foo> $ msxsl wspace.xml wspace.xsl <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><foo> text. </foo>
So msxsl is not stripping whitespace by default? That would confirm my statement.
