But you do <xsl:for-each select="//entry"> so you select both entry elements, and in each case you look up (back in the same file) language replacements, ignoring the text that's there. If you get 4 results there's an error in the key lookup.
<xsl:key name="l" match="entry" use="concat(../@name,' ',@key)"/> on the entry .. is properties and properties doesnt have a name attribute, you want ../../@name (you can blame me:-) If you change to ../ then you just get one for each lookup
OK, this works now, but how can I change it so I only look it up once? I can't use the
