Hey there,
What if I want to make a call to the document() function but I don't expect any value?
I have a processing script that can be called from XSL which basically just inserts a row into a table, a la....
document(concat($script,'module=Warn&warning=Good riddance'))
But putting this <xsl:value-of select="document(...)" /> doesn't really make any sense. I don't care about its value!
You might need to add a comment or something to make sure it doesn't get optimized away, eg:
