John, you may want to search on google for this topic, there's a lot of papers, examples and code libraries that you may want to look at. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=rdf+xslt&btnG=Google+Search And if you are by any chance using Jena, I remember that Norman Welsh wrote something called RDF Twig as a set of extension functions to facilitate accessing RDG graphs in Jena.
