The order of the elements in the source does not matter as your template
controls the order that they are processed.

Note that what David says is true for the XSLT -- in general, it doesn't matter what order things appear in, since XSLT is designed to handle it -- but it might not be true for your documents, if they are required to be valid to a schema.


We could help you with the XSLT if you had XML that worked, tagging your information (including the "macros") correctly by the rules both of XML and of your system (your schema and any other operational constraints you may be facing). But you don't. Fix that problem and the rest is easy.
