Trying to debug and coming up with something that boggles me.

[<xsl:value-of select="preceding-sibling::Rec[1]/activity" />]
[<xsl:value-of select="activity" />]
<xsl:value-of select="activity = preceding-sibling::Rec[1]/activity" />

Above looks like:

[hi]
[hi]
false
