I worked for a large publisher a while back and one jobs I did was to transform XML that was generated by (apparently) reverse engineering whatever file they send to the printers. The XML was pretty basic but I was able to upconvert a lot of it into useful hyperlinks. One problem I remember was where words were broken across a line and a hyphen was added, for example on the printed page you would have: blah blah blah fundam- ental. In the XML this would just be "fundam-ental"... Anyway, perhaps this sort of XML would be available from Wiley? -- Andrew Welch http://andrewjwelch.com Kernow: http://kernowforsaxon.sf.net/
