OK, EVERYBODY OUT OF THE POOL!

This discussion has just crossed the line into clearly non-useful territory. Discussion of how XSLT might be improved, when it is or is not an appropriate tool, and who to deploy XSLT are useful. But discussion of whether XSLT is or is not a "real programming language" and incendiary without being enlightening.

That's enough of that!

Cheap shot. :) Besides, I meant real programming languages, not a faux functional LISP wannabe in XML guise, with no OO, so there!


Warning: you are starting a big flame here: XML *is* a real
programming language as are Haskell, Lisp, OCaml, F#, ..., etc.
