No other apps and one project in Oxygen w/ a small (40kB) XSLT. Maybe something in the background is affecting it but I don't see anything. No other apps exhibit this behavior. I'll try their support, thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Robert Koberg [mailto:rob@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2008 3:08 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [xsl] Oxygen editor very slow Your best bet is at Oxygen XML Editor Support support@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or their mailing list. They are very responsive. Since I recommended them I can say I don't have that problem. How many apps do you have open? How much RAM do you have? Parsing/processing XML can be a very memory intensive thing. best, -Rob On Thu, 2008-08-21 at 14:28 -0500, Bordeman, Chris wrote: > I know this is off topic, but lots of you guys apparently use and have > recommended this editor. > > I get constant 4-5 second delays when using this editor, can open a > window then close it, run a transform, even just switching between the > Outline and editor windows, just about anything will cause this delay. > > Is this normal w/ Oxygen? If so it would make the thing unusable. > > Thanks.
