As usual, I'm implementing features in Saxon selectively and incrementally. Some of the new features from the current draft are in Saxon 9.2, generally as extensions in the Saxon namespace; others have been implemented and will appear in the next release, whenever that might be. However, I think all the evidence is that with XSLT, as with other mature programming languages, the development time for producing a new version of the language and the development time for producing implementations of the new version are measured in years; patience will be needed!
