In all real-world projects I have seen the XSL transformation is only one step
in a larger process that involves surrounding tasks. And I guess the number
and type of such tasks is possibly infinite, if you start looking at the union
of all projects instead of just your own. So, you'll never reach a point where
all users would be satisfied...

Given that, I rather have a tool that is very very good at what it is designed
for. And build my own production environment around that as I need it.
