Well node-set is an extension function that is not needed at all in XSLT 
2.0.
You need evaluate instead
 <xsl:apply-templates xmlns:saxon="http://saxon.sf.net/"; select 
="$FileA/saxon:evaluate($Axpath_new)/@id" />
