I tried it. It is a good intention and the XSLT community needs such a tool. This said, the produced results are only interpreted as HTML, which makes this tool in its current form not too-useful. What if a transformation uses an output method of "xml" or "text" ? In this case the results cannot be seen (I would be glad to be proven wrong on this). Another issue is that if the XSLT processor raises an error (I already notified the frameless devs about this), no error message is displayed. Also, I wonder how this tool deals with hanging transformations, such as ones that enter an endless loop, or actual DOS. If the tool is to be successful, it must be able to handle such issues and to be able to perform satisfactorily under heavy load. Would be happy to see all these issues resolved. :) Cheers, Dimitre On Mon, Dec 2, 2013 at 9:19 AM, Hermann Stamm-Wilbrandt <STAMMW@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > 2 x XSLT2 and 1 x XSLT1 processors to compare within XSLT fiddle, nice: > https://twitter.com/frameless_io/statuses/407133255738343424 > > > > Mit besten Gruessen / Best wishes, > > Hermann Stamm-Wilbrandt > Level 3 support for XML Compiler team and Fixpack team lead > WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliances > https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/mydeveloperworks/blogs/HermannSW/ > https://twitter.com/HermannSW/ http://www.stamm-wilbrandt.de/frameless/ > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > IBM Deutschland Research & Development GmbH > Vorsitzende des Aufsichtsrats: Martina Koederitz > Geschaeftsfuehrung: Dirk Wittkopp > Sitz der Gesellschaft: Boeblingen > Registergericht: Amtsgericht Stuttgart, HRB 243294 > -- Cheers, Dimitre Novatchev --------------------------------------- Truly great madness cannot be achieved without significant intelligence. --------------------------------------- To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk ------------------------------------- Never fight an inanimate object ------------------------------------- To avoid situations in which you might make mistakes may be the biggest mistake of all ------------------------------------ Quality means doing it right when no one is looking. ------------------------------------- You've achieved success in your field when you don't know whether what you're doing is work or play ------------------------------------- To achieve the impossible dream, try going to sleep. ------------------------------------- Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. ------------------------------------- Typing monkeys will write all Shakespeare's works in 200yrs.Will they write all patents, too? :) ------------------------------------- I finally figured out the only reason to be alive is to enjoy it.
