You can use xpath-default-namespace on any XSLT element, for example xsl;template, to define a value for that template. However, it may be more convenient to define it at the module level: put the code for handling a particular source document in one stylesheet module, with an xpath-default-namespace attribute on the xsl:stylesheet element of that module.
