That does work for expath file functions, but I can't get the zip functions to work. I wonder if anyone can suggest what I'm doing wrong here. You have to pass a <zip:file> element to the expath-zip:zip:file() function, and the simplest way I can see to do that is to create the zip:file element inside a variable and then pass the variable to the function:
SaxonPE/EE support for the EXPath ZIP module was withdrawn between 9.5 and 9.5.1 (see http://www.saxonica.com/documentation/index.html#!changes/installation/9.5-9.5.1 <http://www.saxonica.com/documentation/index.html#%21changes/installation/9.5-9.5.1> for details why) Unfortunately we overlooked removing the section in the function listing documentation.

Note that there is a revamp of the specification underway (see http://expath.org/spec/archive) which it is intended i) to finalise in the next few months and ii) support in SaxonPE/EE 9.6. If you have any views about the specification, then please make your opinions known in the EXPath community via the mailing list (mail-to:public-expath@xxxxxx)
