help please

I have been asked to give a talk on the copyright aspect of website linking,
and linking to electronic databases. These links will be used on a
commercial company intranet and be used to do research for their special
fields of interest that will generate income for the company.
I work as a copyright consultant to publishers in South Africa for mostly
hard copy material, and am very uncertain where to look for material on
electronic rights. If you could point me in the right direction, I would be
very grateful.
