But probably wouldn't have been able to accomplish even that if it wasn't for things like the Stella manual being online, all the newly annotated source codes popping up, and Bob's amazing Distella programme. But I still haven't done any original coding, just hacking other stuff. When I get the time I think I'll sit down and just try to draw a box on the screen with a sprite in the middle of it, then expand on that by being able to move the sprite with the joystick etc. But getting the time to muck about is the key issue. What I need is a pause button for life and then I'm set! So I guess I'm halfway between "Willing To Learn" and "Beginner".
