In the 6502 emulation mode, it runs EXACTLY the same as a 6502, right down to the cycle timing. In 8-bit 65816 mode, some of the instructions execute a cycle or two? faster. The one difference in emulation mode is that the "illegal" opcodes have been redefined with new legal opcodes. This causes some C64 programs to fail, as they made use of those instructions. Is this common in 2600 games?
