CC is a system to transmit subtitlings in TV shows, right? In Europe that
is handled by Teletext/Videotext, where parts of the page can be defined as
transparent. If the CC signal is similar to Teletext, it can't be produced
by the VCS, because it uses several full lines with a pretty high resulution.
It seems, that the signal is also broadcasted during the horizontal blank, 
where the VCS can't display anything.
